PRICE AND PAGE EVIDENCE

Proof of what a page said, and when.

List the reseller, marketplace or competitor pages you care about. FluxProof checks them on a schedule, tells you when a price drops below your floor or the page changes, and saves a proof packet: the exact page as it was served, its SHA-256 fingerprint, and a timestamp from an independent authority that anyone can check with OpenSSL.

Free. Nothing is saved and no account is made. It shows whether the page can be fetched and the price it declares.

WHO IT IS FOR

When a screenshot is not enough.

01

Brands with a MAP policy

Set a price floor on each reseller page. When a seller advertises below it you get an alert and a packet showing the price, the page and the time, ready to send with your notice.

02

Unauthorized and copycat listings

Keep a record of a listing before the seller edits or removes it. Each packet links to the previous one, so you can show how long a listing ran.

03

Lawyers and paralegals

Preserve terms of service, pricing pages or statements as they stood on a date, with hashes and an outside timestamp your expert or declarant can rely on.

THE PROOF PACKET

One ZIP file you can check without us.

Every file is listed with its SHA-256 in files.sha256. The packet's README walks through checking each part with standard tools. Download a real sample packet (a capture of example.com).

page.html
The exact bytes the site served
manifest.json
URL, redirects, time, status, headers, hashes, prices found, your floor
timestamp.tsr
RFC 3161 token from DigiCert or FreeTSA over the manifest
manifest.sig
Ed25519 signature by FluxProof
CHANGE.txt
Before and after, when a page changed

What a packet shows, and what it doesn't

It shows that our server requested the page and received exactly those bytes at that time, that the record existed no later than the outside authority's timestamp, and that it has not been altered since. It does not show what every visitor saw: sites can vary by location, device or login, and FluxProof fetches without cookies or a login. It does not run JavaScript, so it reads prices only from what the page declares in its HTML (structured data, meta tags) or from Shopify's public product data. It is a technical record, not legal advice; whether to use it in a dispute is your and your lawyer's call.

Most Shopify, WooCommerce and independent store pages work. Some large marketplaces block automated requests. The free check above tells you before you pay.
